Chantal

Chantal Beaudoin brings her Canadian tree hugging passion to the London School of Economics and Political Science as the Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Waste Officer. Her work implementing Zero Waste projects has been recognized both in Canada and in the UK more recently at the 2008 and 2009 National Recycling Awards. Chantal holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the John Molson School of Business in July 2010 received an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice from the University of Bath.

Carolyn

Carolyn has been London based since finishing her Masters in International Relations at Warwick University. After 3 years in the financial industry, Carolyn now works with Camco as an Associate within the Carbon Operations team managing commercial contracts. This is her 2nd year as being part of the Net Impact leadership team and continues to actively pursue her interests in Microfinance, Social Finance and Impact Investing. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Milly

Milly Roy hails to you from Canada where she earned an undergraduate degree in International Business/Marketing and built on this by working with Canada's largest grocery retailer in category management. Her past experience with Oxfam Canada and her recently completion of a Masters degree from the London School of Economics in social policy have led her to become increasingly interested in the intersection of business and the 'social'. She is currently working as a marketing consultant in the FMCG industry.

Miriam

Miriam Grossmanova brings her project management experience from the UK higher education sector and her passion for sustainable and healthy lifestyles. She is co-founder of an organic skincare distribution company in Slovakia. This experience has led her to focus more on sustainable marketing and green consumption. Miriam holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics, where she currently works on an international educational project, utilising her Eastern European cultural and linguistic skills. She has been also providing support to the LSE Sustainability team.

Kristin

Kristin recently completed her MBA at HEC Paris and now works in corporate strategy for an energy management firm. She has a strong interest in sustainability at the bottom of the pyramid and spent a summer in Senegal working with small-scale renewable energy. Kristin loves to travel and has circumnavigated the globe on a ship. She is avid reader and marathon runner.

Joy

Joy Adams Ehrensberger is the founder of the blog ‘The Ribbon Cutting’, which focuses on a variety of social policy topics. She has five years of experience in community and economic development project management. In 2006, Joy graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government with a master’s degree in public policy focused on political and economic development. She currently resides in London, England. Since arriving in the UK, she has been blogging and advising a business start up.

Michelle

Michelle Gallant is a marketing communication professional passionate about sustainability, marketing, behaviour change and how this all links together. Michelle’s experience has focused on CSR, marketing, branding, community engagement and leadership facilitation, and she has worked in four different countries (Canada, Turkey, the Netherlands and now the UK). With a degree in Communication and Sociology from Carleton University, Michelle would like to delve more into behaviour change around the idea of green consumers and supporting a sustainable future. Michelle currently works as a CSR Consultant and has created a national education programme to implement her client’s community engagement strategy.

Evgenia

Evgenia Sivtsova is a marketing professional with over three years’ experience within the media and consumer goods sectors. Born and raised in Russia, Evgenia lived in Western Europe and Canada and is now living permanently in the UK. Her cross-cultural background combined with her education in politics and business led her to become increasingly interested in environmental issues and the intricacies of development policies. Evgenia decided to align her career with her core values and embrace sustainability as a way of living. Having earned her MBA from HEC Montreal in 2010, with a focus on sustainable development, she is dedicating part of her time to promoting change in business practices. Evgenia is an avid yoga practitioner and nature lover.

Brendan

Brendan has a background in economics and climate change consulting. He has managed a number of strategic research projects including the Sustainability Assessment of Global Financial Centres for the City of London, determining climate change risks and economic impacts for Defra and the Environment Agency, and identifying London’s low carbon economic opportunities for the London Development Agency - subsequently presented at the Copenhagen Conference He currently works as an energy consultant at powerPerfector, helping private and public sector clients to save energy and carbon emissions. He holds a bachelor degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Western Australia and an MA Policy Studies in Energy & Environment. He recently performed spoken word poetry at the Bestival and Secret Garden fesitvals.

Onome

Onome has a keen instinct for global justice in the areas of health, human rights and economic disparity. She has obtained a doctorate in the former, and engaged in events, discussion and activism on the latter two issues for over 15 years. Onome will be opening her own ethical bar and café business in London this year. Running an ethical business is natural progression for Onome, uniting years of activism in addressing global issues of disparity by creating a fun, successful and dynamic business which creates a lifestyle choice to effortlessly care for people and planet.
