The first Transformational Media summit is taking place this September 27-28 in London.  It is a gathering of leaders from across the globe exploring how media can contribute to a peaceful prosperous world. Themes covered include: web 2.0, ethics and leadership, citizen journalism, documentary film making, transformational story telling, sustainable living, and covering themes such as war and climate change.

The summit consists of a workshop on the first day, with sessions such as leadership, and creating depth and meaning to stories to build the foundations for transformational media.  Participants of the workshop will receive a certificate from the UN mandated University for Peace Centre for Executive Education.  The second day is a showcase of exceptional examples from around the world, panel debates and discussions.

The event brings together leading experts in their fields such as Dara Marks, Hollywoods no1 rated script consultant, Anna Coote, Head of Social Policy, New Economics Foundation, Duane Elgin, Visionary and author, and Stuart Hughes, Diplomatic Producer BBC News.
