Hailing from the entrepreneurial and environmentally sound (albeit bankrupt) state of California, Marissa has adopted London as her new home over the past three years. Her focus is on sustainability research and investment in emerging markets including microfinance and small medium enterprises. Prior to moving to London, Marissa worked as a research associate for an investment advisory firm in San Francisco. She holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis and an MSc in Globalisation and Latin American Development from the University of London.
